Dennis Blair

Founder and CEO

Dennis Blair, founder and owner of Blair IT, has been and continues to be a dedicated leader and active member of the Westerville community.

With a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Cincinnati, Dennis discovered a natural aptitude for technology while working for IBM in New York.

When working at a prestigious Columbus architecture firm, Dennis’ passion for technology inspired him to establish Blair IT in 1999, a firm that continues to provide exceptional IT services to AEC firms and other clients throughout central Ohio, several of whom have been with the company since its inception.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dennis has lived a life of service — both to his community and his family. Dennis was recognized as Volunteer of the Year by the City of Westerville, as well as the city’s representative as COSI’s STEM-Star.  Dennis utilized his architectural background as Design Chair for Uptown Westerville Inc, as Chair of the Uptown Review Board for the city, and as community co-Chair of the city’s Comprehensive Community Plan. In 2023, Dennis was elected to Westerville City Council.

Dennis has championed many educational and community initiatives, such as helping to bring the Hope Squad to Westerville City Schools through the Westerville Education Challenge organization, as a founding member for local nonprofits The Big Bus and Catalyst Learning Labs, through serving in various leadership roles with Sunrise Rotary, and as a long-term member of the MLK Jr. Legacy Project.

Dennis continues to combine his business acumen and community spirit, fostering growth and connection both within Blair IT and across the Westerville area.
